This plant-based recipe is from a site called SIXYkids.com, where you can purchase healthy, plant-based, kid-friendly recipes, and all the money goes to a charity of your choice. Karen Stern, a mom, cook, and dreamer, created this site to help heal our planet and to help kids eat healthy, tasty foods.

She says, “Our future starts with our children. In order to reverse our current health crisis, the destruction of our planet, and the cruel animal practices that exist, we must start with them.”

This is a beautiful mission and intention. The following is a recipe from her site, and it would be a great way to teach your kids that sweet, chocolatey treats can be made healthier with nuts, fruit, and seeds.
